I'm a Domestic Goddess Friday: Target Easter Edition

Happy Friday the 13th Blogging Buddies ;)

So this Domestic Goddess Friday is dedicated to the Easter section at Target. First you need to understand- I LOVE EASTER and I LOVE TARGET... so this combo makes me real real happy!

I bought this lovely easter basket for my mom before I left home... and then bought myself one when I came back to LA ;) Its just SOOOO cute! And to top it off.. i bought EASTER CANDY!! Lets take a second to relish in the deliciousness that is the Cadbury Creme Egg..................

(it looks like the bunny is sitting on the egg... dont judge its early here... i find this funny at 8 am)

So if your in a bad mood, tired of the never ending winter season, or just happen to find yourself in Target wandering around aimlessly... go to the Easter Section at Target... it gives you hope that Spring then Summer is on its way ;)

I'm a Domestic Goddess Friday: Cupcake Edition

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Well its Friday, so that means its "I"M A DOMESTIC GODDESS" day here at the Deconstructed Blog.

And today i'll be teaching you how to make my amazing "I"M 6 YEARS OLD AGAIN CUPCAKES"

yup thats what they are called: 

"I"M 6 YEARS OLD AGAIN CUPCAKES"

So here is your grocery list:

*Funfetti Cupcake Mix & ingredients 

*Cream Cheese Icing

*Food Coloring

*a chopstick

*Gummi Bears

*Sprinkles

And here's what you do:

1. Mix ingredients according to the Funfetti Cupcake Mix

2. Place mix in cupcake pan (fill 1/2 way)

3. Bake according to box

4. After cupcakes cool, put icing on each cupcake with the back of a spoon

5. Place one drop of food coloring on each cupcake and swirl (using a circular motion-thanks chelsea) with a chopstick- until desired look is achieved. 

6. Add sprinkles, gummi bears, anything that your inner 6 year old heart wants!!

7. Share with friends - you could serve them on Hello Kitty and Dinosaur plates if you really wanna channel your inner childhood!!!

"I'm a Domestic Goddess" Fridays!

Happy Friday Blogging Buddies-

SOOOO i'm starting a new tradition... "I"M A DOMESTIC GODDESS FRIDAYS!"

yup- i figured a few days during the week need to be "set" in the blog... some people do wordless wednesdays, or ten-word tuesdays, etc... well Starting NEXT WEEK- i'll be setting a few days that week after week will keep reappearing... 

so FRIDAYS = I'm a Domestic Goddess.

Now anyone who knows me is probably laughing out loud.. to the point that, what they are drinking (vodka most likely) is coming out their noses... thats how ridiculous this sounds when i declare "I"M A DOMESTIC GODDESS!" to the world. 

I know i know... I"M TRYING THOUGH! After living for 5 years out in the real world, you think i would be better at household things.. (do i have to remind you, the first time i did laundry i called my mom crying... yup just staring at the washing machine asking what these 'buttons' did... ugh.... sad days)

WELL MARTHA WATCH OUT!!! 

So tonight, i decided to cook something substantial... 

TUSCAN CHICKEN with Spinach-Parmesan Fettuccine

ya i know- impressed yet???

(thanks mom for giving me the Five Ingredient 15 Minute Recipes book.)

So for those of you who doubting my fine kitchen skills (aka the one and only f*&%head himself, MATT)

here is visual proof!

LOOKS GOOD, HUH!?!??!!? I have to say it was very very YUMMY! Kinda messy to clean up (the balsamic vinegar got away from me... it was touch n go for a while ;) 

but all in all A GREAT DINNER! YAY!!!

So this weekend if full of fun- Dance Class, An ANTI-VALENTINES Sleepover at my apartment, and the first DE meeting of the year on sunday! AHHHH!!! Dance EX 09 is gonna be the best ever!!!
