Last Saturday night Hubby and I were driving home from a birthday party and the moon was so mysterious. Not sure if it was totally full but it seemed full enough. Of course, I had to capture the moment. However, we were on a curvy road so it wasn't the ideal situation to pull over and take pictures, so I just shot through the DIRTY BUG FILLED windshield. Oh, you professional photographers - please don't gasp, sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do!
I must share a childhood story about the moon and Ashley. She was about 3 or 4 years old and we were driving down the road which gradually changed directions and the moon was big and bright. We were looking at the moon and discussing how pretty it was and all of a sudden she exclaimed, "look Mom, the moon is running - it ran from over there (pointing right) to over there (pointing left), where do you think it is going?" It was one of those priceless moments that you must always remember!
Hope you all have a moon filled night!

Hi Caren,
Love your moon shots. You did a great job!
Also, what Ashley said is a great one! Thank you for sharing! After my father died ( on a June 11) I became more aware of the moon, trees and birds.
Have a great weekend!
