As promised, I thought I would show you something I purchased while at the Nashville Flea Market. I have a few other things, but they are large and I have not figured out how to photograph them or WHAT to do with them! Do you ever buy things at a flea market that you just have to have and then you don't know what to do with them or where to put them? I have done that again.
However, I do know what I am going to do with these giant old spools. I am going to use them for my Malibu Hair tie material. It will be great. Now I just need to sit down and wind them....one of these days. It will probably help tons in organizing and "tiding up" my studio.
I should have bought more - besides using them for my Malibu Hair ties, I could use them for weights (they are very heavy) so I could work on my "Michelle Obama arms". Sounds like a plan!
Have a good night and a better tomorrow!

Hello Caren,
Hhhmmmm wooden spools - will you post photos when you get a chance to have your hair ties in them? :-) I think it's interesting to make these as paper weights to. Very unique and interesting. You get to pain it too.
