Hello to everyone - hope you had a good week. Today I am going to share two of my favorite cards that I have received over the years. Even though they don't show it, they really are PINK! My lighting was bad and the cards are well loved and getting old so they look a bit grainy.
I was given this card because this is my REAL job - teaching children to dance. Yes, they do hang on your leg sometimes ; )

The next card is my all time favorite! Can it get any better than a darling little girl dressed up as a fairy (my other slight obsession) blowing you a kiss?
I hope you enjoyed my pinks. I visited someone new last week, Tina at beansiebabbles and I think everyone should take a look at her blog...she shows you so many wonderful things.
After that, don't forget to visit Beverly to check out her blog and all the other Pink Saturday participants. If you have a little extra time, go over to my playlist on the left scroll down to # 20 and click on "Fireflies". It will always lighten your mood and make you feel like a child again. Do you remember catching fireflies?
Have a great day and a better tomorrow!
Please continue to pray for Haiti. . . . . . . . .

OH MY! Talk about laughing! I nearly keeled over from that little boy in the video!!!! How incredibly darling is THAT! Hahahahahahahahahaha! Thank you for making me so very pink and happy. (And you are so sweet to worry about me. I'm fine. Just busy and trying to get my routine down. Love and hugs to you!)

Hi Caren,
The pics are absolutely priceless! Leeann of Fabulously French mentioned you and posted a photo of your fairy door so I thought I would pop on over. I LOVE the idea of the fairy door for sparking the imagination.

Happy Pink Saturday Caren...
These two cards are just so precious. Ofcourse you know me, I am a little bit partial to the fairies. I so see them come and go from my door. They are quite magical and can be anything to anyone. I have traveled all over the world with my fairy door, so yep the fairies are just a little bit more my direction. I never took ballet, but I can see a small child, frightened so they hang on. I know you have seen it. Probaby more times than you can count.
Oh and I have to tell you I found myself laughing away at the mushroom lady. How sweet that story is. I too have these really bad coughing spells. It sends everybody at work scurrying. I always say if I want to get ahead in line, I just get one of those tickles and start coughing, it will clear out the resturaunt really quick. Love it hu? I really love your mushroom lady though. I would have bought her without a cough. Love it sweetie.
Have a beautiful Sunday sweetie. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

The first card reminds me of being in school. I think I didn't want to let go of my mom and them my teacher :-).

It never fails. If the weather is all gray and gloomy Pink Saturday always cheers me up! This week is no exception. Your post this week is just wonderful! ♥Thank you so much for making my day a little brighter!♥
Sending warm wishes to you from northern Michigan - where the cold winds blow and gray clouds pepper the skies.

Hi Caren!
Thank-you for stopping by! Love those photos/cards! Once when I was in Georgetown--in D,C,--i sa a little girl playing on her steps in a fairy costume. Snapped her pic! (After asking her mom...)
Its a treasure!

Hi Caren! What a nice surprise!.. Thank you for mentioning me!! I can see why the second card is your favorite.. It IS very sweet!.. Now as for your "lighting".. I'm wondering if that is the/ONE OF the problems with many of my own photography blunders of late! I'll experiment more with that during the week hopefully!.. As for Li? We go back to my very first days of blogging, if I remember right!.. and I DO in fact visit with her frequently! She is becoming quite a talented crocheter, I think!!.. Happy Pink Saturday, and have a great weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina

OMG! Those cards are wonderful, Caren. I love them both....but my heart just skipped a beat over the first one. My daughter was in ballet for several years...I used to LOVE to sit in the lobby and listen to the music as the girls took their classes. It was some of my favorite and sweet times. I still can't hear The Nutcracker music without thinking of her great experiences in ballet and the different parts she danced....especially in The Nutcracker. I was even in a production one year...a parent in the opening scene. It was a blast.
Hope you have a great Pink Sat...it's a rainy one in KC today!
